²⁸ and brought his head on a platter and gave it to the maiden, and the maiden gave it to her mother.

²⁹ And when John’s disciples heard of it, they came and took up his body and put it in a tomb.

³⁰ And the apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus and told him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.
